UNYAP Invitation
Hi guys, an invitation from the United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines.
Mr. Ronald Gil Joy Bilang
President
Philippine Federation of State Universities and Colleges Student Leaders
Dear Mr. Bilang:
Greetings!
The United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines (UNYAP) is the official youth arm of the United Nation Association of the Philippines (UNAP) run for and by young people. One of our awaited activities is the International Youth Day (IYD) Celebration which is now on its 18th year.
Since 1999, UNYAP has been actively organizing events for the International Youth Day (IYD) having focused on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and now the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. The theme of this years' celebration is "Youth Building Peace".
Since the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 in 201, there is growing recognition that as agents of change, young people are critical actors in conflict prevention and sustaining peace. International Youth Day 2017 is dedicated to celebrating young people's contributions to conflict prevention and tansformation as well as inclusion, social justice, and sustainable peace.
Through this, we would like to invite the members of your federation to celebrate with us on August 12, 2017 (Saturday) from 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, University Road, Poblacion, Muntinlupa City. We would like to have their student council/government officers to attend the event regarding how the academe can help and contribute in the attainment of the SDGs. You can send up to five (5) student leaders per SUC whom you believe can take the lead in making your school a champion for the SDGs.
There would be a registration fee of Php300.00 per participant to cover snacks, lunch, and materials for the event. Participants are qrequired to register and confirm their online through http://bit.ly/IYD2017UNYAP
If you have any questions, kindly contact the undersigned at 0917 7240 300 or email us at ncr.unyap@gmail.com
Sincerely yours,
Julio Jerison E. Macrohon

Re: UNYAP Invitation
Will an invitation letter also be forwarded to university presidents? Unless it gets an approval from our university president, we may not be able to send delegates.

Hi. Nate. Unfortunately, the organizer can't forward it to your university president. I posted the link for the orginal invitation letter. I can send later the memo endorsing participation for the event. Cheers!
